John Kaczor
Founder & Principal Consultant
John is responsible for technical oversight and management of all projects. Since 1995, he has worked as a consultant to hundreds of local governments on a variety of financial management issues. Additionally, he has conducted research and analysis of economic development opportunities, public policy proposals and municipal performance measurements.
Prior to establishing Municipal Analytics, John served as Manager of Municipal Consulting Services at the Michigan Municipal League, Senior Government Financial Consultant to the public accounting firm of Rehmann Robson, Research Consultant at Michigan Consulting, and Special Projects Analyst for the Corrective Action Team with New York City. He holds a Masters degree in Public Policy Studies from the University of Michigan.
Martha King
Accounting and Utility Consultant
Martha has over fifteen years of experience in the electric, gas, water, and telecommunications industries. Her primary focus is in the areas of finance, accounting and internal auditing.
Prior to her work with Municipal Analytics, Martha honed her skills at an international accounting firm, a national regulated industries consulting firm, a regional public utility, a private manufacturer, and operated her own accounting and consulting companies.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
Joy Leung
Project Consultant
Joy has over ten years of experience in the public sector, in several capacities. Her primary focus is on planning, with a background in demographic analysis, geospatial mapping and quantitative analysis. She is also well versed in community outreach, organizational analysis, survey design, and data synthesis.
Prior work experience includes serving as a city planner with New York City, and as a senior research associate with the Institute for Children and Poverty. Joy holds a graduate degree in Urban Planning from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture.
